Safety Standards
At Ohio Paving, safety is integrated throughout the
entire project planning and execution process to meet
“zero accident performance” goals. We place the highest
priority on the safety of our employees and
subcontractors, both in the field and in the office, and
are vigilant in safeguarding third parties and property
during the course of our work.
We
provide the necessary tools, equipment, and education to
meet or exceed OSHA standards. Ohio Paving’s management
support of the field personnel and continual training
are critical to the success of maintaining a safe
jobsite. Our site superintendents have completed the
OSHA 30 training and are Certified in First Aid and CPR.
Ohio
Paving participates in the Ohio Bureau of Workers’
Compensation (BWC) Drug-Free Workplace Program. As such,
we require pre-employment drug screening and random drug
testing. In addition, each employee is required to
attend an annual drug-free workplace training session.
Upon
request, we will be happy to provide a Site Specific
Health and Safety Plan (HASP). Please speak to us about
any specific safety concerns you have concerning your
project.
We are
happy to tailor our safety plan to meet any programs
that you participate in or any unique safety challenges
associated with your property.
